About

Robot50 is the collection of maker stuff from Bill Ball.

Growing up in my father’s and grandfather’s wood shop I was always going to be a tinkerer. Although I was mostly known for “decommissioning” my toys (usually with a hammer) to see how they worked, and got a C in house wiring in Junior High metal shop, I eventually figured out how make stuff that actually functions. Ok a bit of smoke still comes out once in a while.

This site contains a mix of projects with complete instructions and less fully documented work meant to spur other ideas. Feel free to make use of whatever you find. Anything I created on this site is Creative Commons Noncommercial unless otherwise specified.

I can be reached at bill@robot.50.net or billball@capital.edu

A small ugly hat the consistency of fruit leather but which smells strongly of stale vinegar. I grew it from a vat of bacteria. I think my career in bio-hacking with be short lived :)
